Amber Rose's First Runway Show

Last month Amber Rose graced the runway for a Celestino fashion show. Though not as tall or skinny as the average model, she's undeniably fierce. Designer Sergio Guadarrama is quoted saying: "We requested her specifically. I mean, we had the choice of big models, but we wanted Amber Rose. I mean, she’s Amber Rose, so she was going to close our show no matter what." And regarding his typical choice of casting super skinny models in his shows he says of Amber: "I honestly think she’s going to be a force to be reckoned with in the fashion industry." A good way to start your modeling career:)

18-year-old Australian model Skye Stracke is new to the scene but has already captured the attention of many. She's walked in shows for major designers such as Chanel, Christian Lacroix, Nina Ricci, and Missoni. Skye Stracke was recently featured in a Lacoste campaign and has shot editorials for American and Russian Vouge. I appreciate her unique look and it's clear that she'll make a mark in the world of modeling.

Just because your a celebrity doesn't mean you have automatic FASHION SENSE, hence the need for so many stylists in Hollywood today. But one young celeb who stood out to me was Demi Lovato, since she reportedly styles herself. I think she has a very unique rocker chic look that I'm definetly feeling. I respect that she's stuck to her own look throughout the time she's been famous. Definetly a style icon in the making.
